Award for Most subtle artwork of Week 1: Selavy Oh

If you look at pictures of this area before we started. you will see that there was only one wedge facing the tower, raked like an old fashioned stage. But Selavy Oh decided to create what she called a “architectural intervention” creating another stage facing the first one, slightly smaller, like a daughter stage. Is it there for some serious intellectual purpose, such as to subvert the assumption of the original stage that people are performing for the gallery viewers in the tower? Is it just silly? Selavy’s namesake says maybe a little of both. What i like about it is the way that unless you know you would have no idea this was anything other than part of the stage- which i just think is kind of hilarious
