This piece titled “Caterpillar” by Jurin Juran makes me thank the heavens we aren’t invaded by such beings. After looking at this, I started thinking about the whole metamorphosis evolution chain and wondered how people would fall into this idea. Very cool indeed. Stop by and check out all the beautiful detail on it’s face, it’s truly insect-tastic.
Check out this cool T.V. made by the popular Dan Coyote. On the screen is a spectrum-like transformation of colors and line directions. If only science class had this in the room I’d definitely pay more attention, but we can always dream.
Kat2 Kit (yes, a panda) started it all out, and here it is a few days later and we have an embarrassment of riches. We are working to keep up with everything, and give each artwork its due praise or criticism… well “due” according to us. Who else? (more…)

Check his website for additional images. I have a lot of discussions with non-art people about “what is art” and for most folks it boils down to “stuff that is hard to do”.

Kath Kanto left some (i think) faux naive drawings for us to look at this one kinda messes with my head
One of the many, (dang, dude!) artworks that DanCoyote ( www.dancoyote.com ) left for us to discuss and enjoy. He called it a “social sculpture” and it is very fun to play with i have to say.
