Off Sim by Werner Kurosawa. Just two seats moving your avatar. Is this a device like an escalator or an elevator, something which merely moves your avatar from one place to the next? No, this is definitely more, much more! It doesn’t just change your avatar’s location, it changes your perception. Sit on one of the seats, and the impossible will happen: it’s an out-of-sim experience!
What’s appealing to me about this piece is its simplicity. It’s taking an SL function that’s usually used to adjust an avi’s seating position by a millimeter or two, and instead sending the avi out 100 meters or so. Simple. Fabulous.
