We were at Jack the Pelican Presents ( 487 Driggs Ave, Brooklyn, NY 11211, USA ) where gallery visitors had been able to see and interact with anything that happens at the above SLURL on the 52 inch monitor.

Thanks for the interesting discussion of my piece “Plaza.” It’s great to have a piece thoroughly examined by people who actually know stuff.

There was an issue with the notecard, in which I provided a synopsis of what I thought was going on. In fact, I did the piece, then asked myself “what does this remind me of?” The result was the notecard. I actually think you guys were right about it. It was inappropriate.

My mistake was that I situated an SL piece into an RL context, which is something I >>really<< want to avoid. Jay’s comment that he thought it was a metaphor for the SL experience is much more to the point – the point being that in SL we very often find ourselves alone in a highly developed sim environment. Other than that, there are some interesting technical things happening in the piece that only SL script heads will appreciate.

Jay – can you ask Sage to make the BIW floor nontransparent? I find it really disorienting.

Yay the podcast is back.

Also, Snubnose Genopeak has re-rezzed ‘Our Souls Collide’ in the BiW area, which allows rezzing. So it’s working now.
