did anyone see this while it was there two months ago? Looks like kind of a cool idea, but the prose might leave something to be desired. Thoughts?

I missed it :(

Love the idea and if this is one of her first pieces of work then I can see a lot of good stuff to come from her in the future.

In my opinion if the artist gets you to complete the journey from beginning to end, then they have succeeded, and the prose for me was good enough to do that.

This idea reminded me of the Macbeth sim, an educational tool used to ‘illustrate’ and explain aspects of that writing.

Jay, I am not sure what prose you are talking about. I watched both videos and was taken in by the sincerity.

Heyas!

Yes, I saw this one, being one who always looks under the ersatz “land” in the ersatz “water” for new and interesting things hidden there… What is above is not necessarily below.

I liked it. The poem was a wee naive, the imagery was trite but the overall package was a unique combination of visual art, poetry, gaming, and user interface design that may very well be native to the virtual world. While not what I would call “Fine Art”, it is nonetheless a product of some smart thinking.

This approach to content might be termed a “navigable narrative”, and however far ahead the contextual insights are in front of the content, it would be interesting to see this model expanded out to longer and more compelling stories.

Yip, yip, howl…
