We go into detail on the events coming up this weekend and we hear an announcement from Don also….

Well, its very nice to hear that you liked my tree, Desert Eucalypt, it is the 60th in a series, and was built also to contrast with my 50th which was an extremely complex piece, (now only to be seen on Orange Island). It is only two prim, that means just two pieces.
I think it is a pattern with artists and makers the world over to aim for bigger and more complex pieces before refining and restricting to simpler pieces. This required a skill with Blender that I am still aquiring… :))

Thank you for discussing my picture!

Answering your question, I didn’t add the lines to the picture. I presumed they were put there by Ex Oh.

The piece Comical Also, which you spoke of in the podcast is a further step in the Comical Series which explores the use of flexible forms and shifting textures powered by a movement script with randomized sequences. This is what makes the piece creep about and not really have a center but a constant boiling of forms accentuated by the targa texture. It seems when objects are linked the scripts sync up and perform their own little dance. The colors of the texture certainly do evoke a palette favoured by certain cubists and the repetition and echoing of the lines evoke that feeling they were attempting to put on canvas.
One can only imagine what some of those minds would have done with this raw material.

Something to say?
