see…. i was trying to wait for my computer to come back from the shop. Tekserve to be exact, and I expect them to do a fine job as they always do– they told me 4 business days 3 business days ago and I was really really really HOPING that it would be done early- but alas, alak no….
why is it in the shop?
Well… cause i’m an idiot. I bricked it. Tried to do an update to the firmware and i was real tired and watching TV and…. people DO NOT attempt to do a firmware upgrade without paying attention to what you are doing. Just don’t do it.
OK… so now i’m giving up and i’m going to give y’all the podcast without the music and everything cause all that is on my poor, sad broken laptop.

Ouch, firmware updates dude, tricky business, I ruined a brand new modem doing that. Good luck!
