Part of why you want brooklyn watching you my dear friends in SL is that we are willing to go places with you. People who wander into Jack the Pelican are the kind of people who are willing to read things, in galleries – willing to read into things, willing to take a good long time thinking about something and maybe not get any pay off at all.
The only “rule” of this space— besides staying within the TOS of SL… mostly… is that whatever you put here we will look at and consider as “art” so we assume that everyone is putting some thought into whatever they’re placing here and most of the time this is assumption is rewarded… i mean really isn’t that the heart of why we all do this? you put something out there hoping someone will pay enough attention to it to get it– you put a beautiful picture down inside your steampunk seahorse hoping someone will pilot their camera in there and find it…. and love it and love you for putting it there…for example (we talk about that alot in podcast 22… which is coming.. i know i keep saying that… i’m sorry… i just hadn’t posted in a long time and i had a lot to say)

but there are times dear readers…. when i doubt. I see a Cow… i see a BBQ grill…. and a… pizza. and i have doubts and i say….”seriously?” now we had a good little discussion about this in podcast 22 which is coming soon– did i mention that? — and Don said he felt it had a kind of “felt necessity” that it… as art people like to say “worked”. But me? I’m giving this one the Are -YOU -JUST -Fucking -With -ME?! award for the week. But then again between Don and me… one of us owns a very successful art gallery and one of us don’t so.. there you go. Thoughts Anyone?
