Kat2 Kit (yes, a panda) started it all out, and here it is a few days later and we have an embarrassment of riches. We are working to keep up with everything, and give each artwork its due praise or criticism… well “due” according to us. Who else? I’m going to the gallery again today to see what the visitors in the art gallery ( Jack the Pelican Presents, where people can view BIW on a 52 inch screen) think of what everyone has done. So far I”ve seen only objects. Where are my performance artists out there? Singers, Dancers, Mimes, mixed media conceptual performance artists using diodes and chocolate sauce… You could get lucky and be on stage right when the critic from the Times or the Voice is walking by….. um.. or both if they’re out together… but better than than take video of your performance at BIW and email us a link to it at watchable@brooklyniswatching.com or use our handy form Our first podcast will be recorded, i think on tuesday night so we’ll have a lot to talk about.

Helllllllo Brooklyn!
Yer old Coyote friend here. You guys may notice that my stuff changes and evolves a little bit every day. For instance, check out the evolution on the once blue and globular “Shatter Sphere”, now chrome magenta with completely and changing morphology!
I call this approach “Low Frequency Performance”. Instead of the same old static modernist style artworks that are frozen in time, these artworks evolve to give new value to the viewer savvy enough to come back for more! Not gonna get that at the MoMA Brooklyn!
The picture Jay featured in the picture before this is part of my “Evolutionary Plaid” series.
Don’t touch that dial Brooklyn, there is much more to come in store from your humble desert doggie.
